Credit Manager

Job Responsibilities 
  • Investigate and scrutinize the credit extended to guests staying in the Hotel and review the list of relevant credit reports.
  • Screen the applications received for credit and recommend to the Financial Controller the issue of credit after scrutinizing and analyzing credit worthiness.
  • Perform credit review at least annually to review the appropriateness of credit granted to the customers.
  • Investigate all “skipper” cases, and chargeback cases thoroughly and decide with the Financial Controller the steps to be taken to recover the outstanding amounts.
  • Organize and lead credit review meeting monthly.
  • Prepare a regular report of outstanding amounts. Monthly aged debtors schedule, and other opera accounts (e.g. PM/PQ/PF) should be followed up and prepare a detailed report of overdue accounts, person in charge and follow up actions.
  • Place before the Management the uncollected amount and obtain the approval for necessary action from the credit review meeting.
  • Supervise and monitor the Accounts Receivable team to ensure that all credit card reconciliation are performed up to date, receipts are matched and posted in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and monitor that refunds are processed in accordance with SOP.
  • Attend other accounts or group review meetings as required.
Job Requirements 
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience.
  • Candidate with hospitality experience will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
