Assistant Reservations Manager

Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all reservations are thoroughly reviewed prior to guests’ arrival and all correspondence promptly handled on the same day received
  • To take charge of special requests and any problems that may arise within the department on a day-to-day basis.
  • To fully train the staff in all aspects of reservation operations.
  • To initiate procedural changes so that staff productivity is maximized and service levels enhanced.
  • To coordinate reservation requirements and liaise with respective departments on special projects.
  • To constantly review room availability in relation to total rooms sold, opening and closing categories with a view to maximizing occupancy and revenues.
  • To maintain comprehensive allotment list and provide monthly report of actual materialization.
  • To issue weekly forecast to update the respective departments on occupancy levels and arrival/departure schedules.
  • To track and establish pick-up trends, occupancy history to facilitate the forecasting process.
